The interest
One of the most important candidates in recent industrial development toward advanced materials has been the use of polymer-based materials. the successful use of polymer for new materials involves two step; synthesis and application of novel materials. In Polmer Materials Laboratory , there have been active researches about the synthesis of novel polymer materials and their applications. Our main goals are to study about membranes separation and technology and the development of biomaterials. Studies about membranes, which are known to be energy saving and used for new separation processes, epecially in the separation of organic mixtures, petroleum separations, gas separation, ultrafiltrations, VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) removal and bio-reactors, are in progress. Reseach on biomedical polymers for drug delivery system, wound dressings, artificial skins and artificial scaffold. Professor Lee has been pibilshed 66 original paper in SCI journals, 75 orignal papers in doinestic journals and 45 papers in internatinal symposium proceeding and have 17 Korean patents
